Right before our photo shoot the sun disappeared and it got really dark out. Not good for a natural light photographer. I was pretty worried but we did manage to get some really nice images. It helps to have adorable subjects. We are going to try to get some outside shots this week as well. Owen is the oldest and he had this modeling thing down pat. Orion is in the middle and he had fun making silly faces (this is the age where the cheese face tends to come out) but I still got a couple natural smiles. Evan is the youngest and he has a great smile and belly laugh. I think he is getting some teeth because he really liked his hands :)
My Brother-in-law and his wife are expecting and we couldn't be more delighted for them. I always think that being a parent is like being in a secret club that you can't really explain to people who don't have children. I always get so excited when new members are going to join because they will get to know this wonderful feeling I get to have everyday when I see my children's faces. The sex is a surprise and we are all going to be waiting to get the call stating "It's a ---" Hopefully I will have some pictures to share when the time comes:)
Yesterday I got to photograph my brother and my soon to be sister-in-law. We had a good time trying out ideas and getting the bike out. They are a great match for each other and we are all looking forward to celebrating at their wedding in May.
Wow, time keeps flying by. Where did the summer go? I can't believe that Miss Harper is 6 months already. She has the most beautiful smile. It is one of those smiles that lights up the whole room. She doesn't give them away for free either. She requires some singing from her momma along with some tickling.
It is not too often that I see babies with hair but a full head of hair is pretty rare. I have been fortunate enough that my last two sessions have been full of it :) Her mommy must have done her homework, because little Bria was fed, undressed, and sleeping when I got there. It truly was one of the easiest sessions I have done. I have to say that this first picture has moved to the top of my list of all time faves. It was so much fun getting to know Bria and her family. Enjoy!
I have to say that I had so much fun at Sarah and Craig's wedding. I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time. The whole wedding party was a bunch of fun. This day was full of emotion for everyone involved. It was so sweet to see the intimate moments in between the laughter. Enjoy!
What a little looker Logan is. He was totally practiced and ready for his session (his mommy said he was smiling and saying cheese in the car. Too cute) The kids were great and little Addison had me cracking up with all of her funny faces. I love this family :)
She was showing Logan some posing ideas and I think she is stunning in this picture! (I am sure she will try to tell me otherwise)
